How Do I Know If Today Is a Wembley Event Day?

Check the top of our homepage. It gives today's answer, worked out from Brent Council's own list of event days.

Brent decides. A date on Brent's list is a Wembley Event Day. A date inside the list's range that isn't on it is not one, and normal parking rules apply.

Not yet on Brent's list. That's what a Stadium act page's event card says for a date further ahead than Brent has published.

Is There a Wembley Event Day Tomorrow?

Our homepage answers it under Tomorrow and This Weekend at Wembley. Every Stadium and Arena event on tomorrow's date is listed with its times, and a Stadium date shows whether it is on Brent's list.

When Do Events at Wembley Finish?

Only the venue can say. When it publishes a finish time, our listing shows it beside the event. On a Wembley Event Day, the parking restrictions end at midnight, apart from zone T, whatever time the event finishes.

Does an OVO Arena Event Make It a Wembley Event Day?

No. Brent's restrictions apply "on Wembley Stadium event days", in the council's own words, and its list is made up of Stadium concerts and fixtures.

What an Arena night changes is the crowd. Up to 12,500 people walk between Wembley Park station and the Arena, while your street keeps its usual rules. More on Arena nights on our parking page.

Is Every Night of a Run a Wembley Event Day?

At the Stadium, yes. Each Stadium date on Brent's list is its own Wembley Event Day, including the nights in the middle of a run. An Arena run isn't, however many nights it has.

Can I Park in Wembley on an Event Day?

Not on the street inside the event day zone without a permit, during the restricted hours. Off the street, Wembley Park's five official car parks need no permit and can be booked ahead.

How Much Does a Wembley Event Day Parking Permit Cost?

£15. Brent sells four event day permits, Resident, Visitor, Business, and place of worship or school, and each costs £15 through RingGo. The Resident, Visitor and Business Permits last three years.

How Do I Get a Wembley Event Day Parking Permit?

Through a Brent parking account on RingGo: register or log in, fill in the application, then buy the permit once it is approved. A Resident or Visitor Permit needs proof of residency dated within the last three months, and a Resident Permit also needs proof that the car is registered at your address. Only residents, businesses, places of worship and schools in the zone can apply. More in our guide to Wembley event day permits.

Will I Get a Ticket If I Park Without a Permit?

Yes. In the event day zone, parking without a valid permit during the restricted hours is a contravention. The charge:

• £110 or £160, depending on the contravention
• halved if you pay within 14 days

Your car can be removed too. Getting it back from the pound costs £280 on top of the penalty charge.

What Time Do the Restrictions Start and End?

They end at midnight, apart from zone T. The start depends on where you park:

• Main Roads to the stadium: 8am
• Residential Streets outside a Controlled Parking Zone: 10am, which Brent describes as the general rule
• Controlled Parking Zones in the event day zone: 8am
• Zone SA: 10am
• Zone T: restricted 24 hours a day

Can I Buy a Visitor Permit to Go to an Event?

No. Visitor Permits are bought by residents of the zone for their own visitors, and Brent's terms say they are not for resale.

Can I Park with a Blue Badge on an Event Day?

It depends whether you live in the zone.

• Residents of twelve named shared parking bay zones can get a free Resident Blue Badge Permit through RingGo.
• People going to an event can book an accessible space in the Blue or Red car park at a reduced rate.

A Blue Badge on its own won't let you park on a residents-only street in the zone. Full detail on our parking page.

Where Can I Park If I'm Driving to an Event?

At one of Wembley Park's five official car parks: Pink, Red, Gold, Blue or Green. They are off-street, so they need no permit.

Prices. Pink is the only one with published prices:

• £2.50 for the first hour on a non-event day
• pre-booked event parking from £16.25 for an Arena event, or £40 for a Stadium event
• a £2.50 booking fee on top

The others price each event separately. All five car parks.

What About Private or Unadopted Roads?

The council doesn't enforce them. A council penalty charge isn't the risk on a private or unadopted road. Residents of one in the zone can still buy a Resident Permit, though not Visitor Permits.

Do Motorcycles Need a Permit?

No. A motorcycle can be left in a parking space free and with no time limit, unless that bay is suspended. Check the signs on the bay.

Which Tube Line Goes to Wembley Stadium?

The Metropolitan and Jubilee lines, to Wembley Park, which is two stops from Baker Street on the Metropolitan line and leads straight onto Olympic Way. Wembley Central, on the Bakerloo line and the London Overground, and Wembley Stadium station, one stop from Marylebone on Chiltern Railways, serve the stadium too. Nothing is edited quietly. When a Stadium or Arena date moves, or drops off the venue's listing before it happens, its entry is marked. The changes page records every Stadium and Arena change, new dates included.

The venue's own page is the authority. We report what changed there.

Listings. Checked against the venues every day, and the footer of every page shows when they were last confirmed.
