Getting to Wembley
Both venues are in Wembley Park, HA9. Three stations serve the area and they are not equally useful, depending on which venue you are going to and where you are coming from.
By tube and rail

Wembley Park is the main route for stadium events, feeding directly onto Olympic Way, the wide pedestrian approach to the stadium. After a large event the stations queue and crowd control can hold people back for a while, so if you have a fixed train to catch, build in more time than the walk alone suggests.
Step-free access
Step-free provision at these stations changes with engineering work, and lift closures are announced at short notice. Rather than publish a claim here that could be months out of date, check TfL's journey planner on the day, which reflects live lift and escalator status.
Driving and parking
You cannot park in the residential streets
On a stadium event day the surrounding streets are permit holders only, typically from 8am or 10am until midnight depending on the street. There is no visitor option. What the restrictions mean and what a penalty costs.
The official option is Wembley Park's five colour-coded car parks (Pink, Red, Gold, Blue and Green), which operate 24 hours, are CCTV-monitored and are marshalled on event days. Which one is where. They sell out for large events, so book ahead rather than arriving and hoping. The postcode for the Arena is HA9 0AA.

Drop-off and pick-up
Drop-off arrangements change for individual events, and roads around the stadium can close entirely for the largest ones. Check the specific event's page on the venue's own site before arranging to be collected: a pick-up point that worked at one event may be inside a road closure at the next.
Buses
Several routes serve Wembley Park and Wembley Central. Bus lanes around the stadium operate at their own hours, which can start earlier than the event day parking restrictions, and a bus lane contravention carries a £160 penalty charge.
