Parking at Wembley: Where to Park for the Stadium and OVO Arena
The short version. Book one of Wembley Park's official car parks before you travel, through Wembley Official Parking. On a Wembley Event Day only residents and businesses with an event day permit can park in the zone around the stadium, from the morning until midnight, and a car parked there without one can be ticketed and removed.
Who runs the car parks. Wembley Park runs five car parks: Red, Pink, Gold, Blue and Green. Wembley Stadium and OVO Arena Wembley both send drivers to them, and both book through wembleyofficialparking.com (opens in a new tab).
The Five Car Parks
| Car park | What it is | Where | Spaces | Height limit | EV charging |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | multi-storey, five floors | opposite the London Designer Outlet's main entrance | up to 850 | 2.45m | yes |
| Pink | multi-storey car and coach park | Lakeside Way, HA9 0HX; its exit is on South Way | 733 cars, 290 coaches | 2.10m | yes |
| Gold | covered multi-storey | next to the London Designer Outlet, entered from Lakeside Way | not published | 2.00m | no |
| Blue | general use car park, with the stadium's Blue Badge parking | connects to the stadium's outer concourse by a bridge | not published | 2.6m | yes |
| Green | open-air car park | HA9 0TQ, the postcode on its booking page | not published | 4.8m | not listed |
Pink, in more detail. Its exit is on South Way, and Wembley Park puts the walk to the stadium at about six minutes, or up to ten when the crowds are large.
Gold's low roof. At 2.00m, Gold has the lowest height limit of the five, so check your vehicle's height before you book it.
EV charging. Red, Pink and Blue have chargers, from 65p per kWh.
No ticket at Pink. Entry and exit at Pink are by number plate recognition, so there is no ticket to collect.
Event Day Prices
How much is parking at Wembley Stadium? Pre-booked event parking is from £40 a car for a Wembley Stadium event, and from £16.25 for an OVO Arena Wembley event. The booking page gives the price for each event.
Booking fees, on top:
- £2.50 for a car or Blue Badge parking
- £1 for a motorbike
- £3.50 for a minibus
- £5 for a coach
Book early. Wembley Park says its car parks regularly fill up on major event days.
Shopping first. On a stadium or Arena event day, the London Designer Outlet offers its customers who spend over £40 at its shops, restaurants or Cineworld the normal parking tariff while spaces last. The ticket has to be validated at the Red Parking office, and pre-booked parking does not qualify.
Blue Badge Parking
Where is Blue Badge parking at Wembley Stadium? In Blue car park, which connects to the stadium's outer concourse by a bridge. Wembley Official Parking also lists Blue Badge spaces at Red and Gold. It is booked through Wembley Official Parking like every other event space, with the same £2.50 booking fee.
A Blue Badge on the street. On a Wembley Event Day a Blue Badge alone does not let you park on a permit-only street in the zone. Our parking page has the detail for residents.
Coaches, Motorcycles and Bicycles
Coaches. Coach parking is next to the stadium, on its west side. Spaces have to be pre-booked for stadium events, and Wembley Official Parking sells coach spaces at Pink and Green. A drivers' lounge has limited room, first come, first served.
Motorcycles. Brent lets a motorcycle use a parking space free and with no time limit, unless that space is suspended. At Red, Wembley Official Parking says motorbike parking is free and needs no booking.
Bicycles. The stadium's bicycle parking is at street level, at B2, in its north-east corner.
Park and Ride
Driving part of the way. The stadium lists eleven Tube station car parks for park and ride. The stadium does not manage or run them, and questions about them go to TfL on 0343 222 1234.

| Eastcote | Metropolitan (Uxbridge) | 50 | 20 minutes |

Driveways and Private Spaces
Booking someone's driveway. Brent enforces the event day restrictions on the public highway only, so a space on private land, such as a driveway rented through a booking app, is outside them.
Unofficial car parks are different. Wembley Stadium and OVO Arena Wembley both advise against unofficial car parks on the way in. The stadium says there are numerous reports of car crime in them and that they can be poorly lit, and the Arena says they may not be secure.
Parking on the Street
Is there free parking near Wembley Stadium? Not on the streets around it on a Wembley Event Day. They are for permit holders only from 8am on the Main Roads and in Controlled Parking Zones, except zone SA at 10am, and generally from 10am on other Residential Streets, all until midnight; zone T is restricted all day. Parking there without a permit means a Penalty Charge Notice, and the car may be removed. Motorcycles are the exception above.
Arena-only nights. An OVO Arena event on a day with nothing at the stadium is not a Wembley Event Day, and the streets keep their ordinary rules.
Which days count. Our homepage shows whether today is a Wembley Event Day, and every upcoming date.
On a Normal Day
Red and Pink. On days without an event, no booking is needed:
| Stay | Price |
|---|---|
| up to 1 hour | £2.50 |
| 1 to 2 hours | £3.50 |
| 2 to 3 hours | £4.50 |
| 3 to 4 hours | £5.50 |
| 4 to 5 hours | £6.50 |
| 5 to 6 hours | £7.50 |
| 6 to 8 hours | £11.50 |
| 8 to 12 hours | £15.50 |
| 12 to 24 hours | £28 |
Gold. Its own tariff: £6 for 2 hours, £11 for 4, £16 for 6, £20 for 8, £25 for 12 and £35 for 24 hours.
Open all hours. The car parks are open 24 hours a day, with patrols and CCTV.
Leaving After the Show
How long does it take to get out? Nobody publishes exit times for these car parks, the operator included, so we do not give one.
What is published. After a stadium event, the stadium closes Empire Way, London Road, Ecclestone Place and the Wembley Triangle.
What we see. The Main Roads usually clear an hour or two after the event ends, depending on its size, and Forty Lane about an hour and a half after.
Follow the signs, not the sat nav. Wembley Park asks drivers to follow their parking confirmation and the event signage, because of road closures around the stadium and the Arena.
Pre-booked cars. The Arena says pre-booked vehicles are registered before they arrive, which makes getting in and out easier.
