Also that day. I'm Every Woman's season at Troubadour is open.

On the ground

This is the quiet night before a loud one. England play Spain at the stadium the following evening, Saturday 26 September, sold out. Young Jonn on the Friday is the Arena on its own: around 12,500 people, an 18:00 start, nothing at the stadium and nothing listed at Boxpark.

The streets around the ground are ordinary streets on the Friday. Where an Arena show does register is the station: an 18:00 start on a weekday puts the arrivals into the back of the evening rush hour at Wembley Park, and a Friday crowd tends to stay out afterwards, so Olympic Way is livelier late than it would be after a Tuesday show.

I'm Every Woman is in its final days at Troubadour; the season closes on Sunday the 27th. The theatre publishes a run, not a list of performances, so this page cannot say whether it plays on the Friday.

If you are driving to the show, this is one of the easier nights of the month to do it. No fanpark, no match crowd, no restriction window that the card above can point to. The caution is the other way round: anyone who parks on the Friday and plans to leave the car until Saturday afternoon will find the residential window has started at 10am and the streets have filled with people who are not going to the Arena.

One more date in the sequence: Anastacia plays the Arena on the Saturday itself, on top of the match. That page is a different story.
