The Rock Orchestra: A Record Fair in the Morning, an Arena Crowd in the Evening
What it is. The Rock Orchestra is fourteen classical musicians playing rock and metal songs, with pyrotechnics and fire performers, in a 90-minute show called Arena of Fire. The setlist draws on bands including Metallica, AC/DC, Linkin Park and Evanescence.
When and where. OVO Arena Wembley, Sunday 25 October, doors at 18:00. It is a 12,500-capacity room.
Not a Wembley Event Day. Nothing is on at Wembley Stadium on the 25th, and the Event Day Permit Scheme only runs on stadium dates. The Residential Streets keep their ordinary rules.
The day, in order:
- Boxpark's VIP Record Fair: 09:00 to 15:00
- The Rock Orchestra: doors at 18:00
Show times. The Arena has not yet published a show start or finish time for the night.
Three hours apart. The record fair closes three hours before the Arena opens its doors, so the two do not overlap.
Troubadour. The 25th falls inside High School Musical's season at Troubadour, which runs from 12 October to 3 January.
The start of a busy week. The Arena has something on every day from this Sunday to Sunday 1 November except Thursday the 29th, when Sunil Grover's show was postponed. None of those eight days is a Wembley Event Day.
Half-term. Brent's community schools are off from Monday 26 to Friday 30 October, the five weekdays that follow this show.
For residents. Your street keeps its usual rules all week. A visitor who could park there on an ordinary Sunday can park there on this one, as long as they find a space. The next stadium date after Sunday 1 November is England v Croatia on Thursday 12 November.
